It’s what we’ve all been waiting for and it’s truly impressive. Simple, straight to the point, reminiscent, beautiful, and inspirational… we think we’ve fallen back in love with our city and especially the song again (because you know they’ve been OD overrotating this cut). We effin’ love this damn city.
And then just to relive those good old days (like two months ago)…
The day before HALLOWEEN! All Hallows Eve aka. MISCHIEF NIGHT…
“A tradition in Canada and the United States; a night when the custom is for preteens and teenagers to take a degree of license to play pranks and do mischief to their neighbors.
Traditional mischiefs done on this night are:
- Knocking and tapping on doors and windows (Knock down ginger/Ding Dong Ditch)
- Daubing objects with whitewash
- Smearing of doorknobs with treacle (syrup made from sugar cane) or Vaseline
- Tying together adjacent door handles to prevent either from opening
- Removing gates from their hinges and depositing them elsewhere
- Throwing toilet paper at people’s homes
- Throwing eggs at windows
Now we won’t exactly participating these said activities (we got too much catching up to do with our costumes, MDP is heading to Salem, we’re pretty much too elderly for this shit, etc.), but we’re just warning y’all! Keep those lights on, hide your jack-o-lanterns, and watch your back! ;)
